Range on the Road: Dorset, England

Range on the Road: Dorset, England

Join Kara Duval, Emily Aitcheson and Chef Shirley Temple for 4 days in Dorset, England. Hidden behind ancient trees, lies Symondsbury Manor, an eclectic 17th century Manor House that is filled with history, quirks and endless charm. Our days will be filled with supportive movement classes, breathwork, meditation, and nourishing food and drink. When not at the Manor, we will be exploring local hiking trails, taking chilly dips in the sea and visiting local shops and pubs. With only 12 attendees, this intimate retreat will provide us the space to unwind, rest and deeply connect with each other. One of my most frequently asked questions is, “is it ok if I don’t know anyone?” And my goodness, YES. We almost prefer it!

Please note that you are registering for a single spot. If you are planning to travel with a friend or family member, you are each responsible for your own sign up OR select 2 spots at checkout. We can coordinate room assignments after registration!

ROOMS

We will be offering 4 Single Occupancy Rooms and 4 Double Occupancy Rooms for a total of 12 guests. Beds range from twin to queen size and bathrooms are either en suite or close proximity away. Please note that due to the gorgeous asymmetry of this property, we have decided to simply offer two price points for Single and Double Occupancy. The Manor is quite old so you can expect lots of old world quirks and charm set alongside the juxtaposition of modern artwork. From Kara, “This is my absolute dream location. The gardens, history, colors and eclecticism are a feast for the senses.”

From House & Garden UK, regarding Symondsbury:

"Alternatively – and always a tempting option – was the prospect of simply relaxing back at Symondsbury Manor, the characterful old house that was our charming base for the week. Hidden away in a tranquil, secluded garden beside the village church, yet just a short walk from the Georgian market town of Bridport, it provided a reassuringly calm, comfortable haven to return to at the end of each day – when we would be greeted by the welcome sight of a large teapot and a towering freshly baked cake (different each day) to be savoured on the terrace overlooking the garden or in the light open-plan living space."
